Seminars

Leading as an Introvert: A two hour seminar that pushes us to examine what type of leader we are pushing our leaders to be. This class isn’t designed to create an introverted church. This class isn’t designed to let introverts OR extroverts remain comfortable in our personality types but rather become educated on how to push each other to grow. The idea is to become a church that does not mistake personality types for proof of faith or ability to lead worship but rather open up a dia-logue on how to push our churches to grow towards biblically accommodating diverse personalities.

God, Gospel and Poverty: A four hour intensive seminar designed to serve local churches and those who serve among the poor and homeless. In this class, participants will learn about the biblical perspective of poverty, how the Gospel impacts poverty and how to develop appropriate poverty alleviation methods.

City Partnerships for the Welfare of the City: A two hour seminar that is designed to train men and women to promote community improvements by mobilizing various groups to serve their city for the glory of God.

Each class is conducted in an interactive, lecture format as participants learn from both the teacher and one another. All classes will be held at the Hope Institute Building. Visit the Calendar to see when the next classes will be offered.
