One of the obstacles to overcoming poverty is education and opportunity. The 3R’S Tutoring program is an opportunity to reinforce education essentials in reading, writing and mathematics. 3R’s Tutoring will also assist children in grades 1-12 in homework, college preparation and exposure to other educational opportunities.

The 3R’S is based on a good working relationship between the COHO and public school officials. Without this basic foundation no tutoring program can function. Therefore, 3R’s will have ongoing relationships with school counselors, principals and officials in the Conway School District.

The following schools have students that will be served by 3R’S:

• Marguerite Vann Elementary School
• Sallie Cone Elementary School
• Ruth Doyle Intermediate School
• Conway High School

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
