The Nehemiah Project is our effort to serve alongside residents to take ownership over the community in which they live. Taking ownership over the community in which God places an individual or family necessitates that those who reside in their community be good stewards over their homes, streets and even their neighbors.
Just as Nehemiah returned to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, our desire is that those within their communities seek to love the areas in which God has called them, be good stewards of their resources and ultimately demonstrate that as the Gospel redeems hearts, the overflow of that grace will impact communities.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
- The Nehemiah Project seeks to unite those within the community with Christians outside the community to beautify their environments. Through Gospel proclamation, community projects and relationship building, the goal is that men and women would see the redemptive power of Christ.
- Click on the “Will You Serve” button for a volunteer application.
- Have your church or small group sponsor a clean-up or renewal project.
- Provide a financial monthly donation
- Donate supplies for building, cleaning and planting
Remember our communities are not enduring communities but we can care for them in such a way that it will point people to the everlasting kingdom of Jesus Christ.
